Me and commissioner BIGD have been discussing whether we should use Online Franchise for the first season. From what EA has told us, there are many draw backs with using Online Franchise, especially no flex-scheduling and no salary cap. Leaguedaddy has worked for every league before this Online Franchise feature came out. I believe it’s a safe bet to try out leaguedaddy for season 1 and then see what the community says about the Online Franchise. If it’s good, we’ll simply make the switch. If it’s bad, we’ll stay with Leaguedaddy. You can discuss this over at the league forums if you wish, get your opinion in. We will discuss this on our radio show in July.
What exactly do I want to make with the TMFL? I want to establish the best place for people to play games. We’re going to start with 2 leagues, but we can expand. I also want to make The Maddenholics Bowl. A big tournament with at least 64 people playing in it. All help will be appreciated. It’s not the commissioners that make a league great, it’s the leagues members. There loyalty is key to the success of any league. Can you imagine what we can establish if we can get this rolling? We can probably become the best league out there if you guys help us out.

Yes, we just decided to start a Youtube channel for the league. And just what exactly do we plan to use this channel for? We’re going to use it to show off your best highlights from games in or outside of the league! If you decide to record a league game, don’t hesitate to sent it to me so that I can upload it to the new channel. This channel will have content from all our users, and you will receive credit for your videos. If anyone wants to make a league commercial, go ahead and send it to me. I hope this will help get us extra publicity! If you guys have any suggestions please tell us!
The league is now stuck between being a Freestlye or Sim league. We are not entirely sure what we’re going to be. There’s still a lot to know about the game. The Madden Dev Team says that the game will be more “Sim” like this year around. They are going to make it so that strategy comes more into the game. It is still very early to make a decision. Both styles of play bring different styles of players. I am thinking of working in between those two styles, try to please both kinds of players. I can’t say I’m freestyle, but I can’t say I’m Sim either. We got a long time to make our decision, hopefully we’ll make the right one…
